Bonus Pay Opportunities

Shipt HQ provides opportunities to earn additional income through bonus pay. Communication will be sent to drivers when a bonus is offered, which will contain details on what the bonus opportunity is and the parameters of what is needed to qualify for it.

You may see different types of qualifying criteria for bonuses in the app:

  • Complete a certain number of routes over a series of days.
    • For example, "Complete 5 routes, earn $10."
  • Complete a minimum amount of routes per day for a series of days.  
    • For example, “Complete 1 route per day for a 3-day streak, earn $30.” 
  • Complete routes of a certain size.
    • For example, “Complete 5 small or medium routes”
  • Complete routes for a specific arrival time.
    • For example, “Complete 5 small or medium routes with an arrival time between 6:15-7:30 a.m.”


In order to receive a payout for a bonus, drivers should be able to meet all qualifications indicated for that particular bonus. Routes with a "promo" label on the offer card and routes that are not picked up on time will not qualify for bonuses.

If you reserve or claim a route that meets the criteria for a bonus opportunity and the route size changes prior to pickup due to a sortation center issue, the route will still count toward your bonus. If the route size changes due to unscanned packages at pickup, the route may not count toward your bonus.

Keep in mind, bonus opportunities will be based on the number of routes completed — not the number of deliveries per route. For example, if one route had 20 deliveries, it would count as one entry toward a bonus opportunity.

After completing the bonus opportunity, you’ll receive a confirmation email and the bonus pay will be reflected in your app's payment history the following week.
